Not Everyone Can Meet You Where You’re At—And That’s Okay

Recently, I found myself in a conversation with someone in my field—a fellow healer whom I’d known and respected for years.

She was struggling.

No new clients. No clarity. And a negative mindset that coated everything she said.

I offered my time freely. I asked gentle, potent questions—the kind that open doors. The kind I paid thousands of dollars to learn from many years ago. 

But every door I knocked on was slammed shut with an excuse.

Every offering was met with resistance.

Every insight, blocked by blame.

And that's when it hit me. She wasn’t looking for guidance.

She wanted someone to do the work for her.

And I realized something I’ve known, but that life always circles back to remind me of:

People can only meet you at the level they’re willing to meet themselves.

I could’ve shared everything I know—wisdom refined through years of devotion, mistakes, healing and serving hundreds of clients.

But none of it would have landed.

Not because it wasn’t valuable.

But because she wasn’t available.

That’s the thing about transformation. It doesn’t respond to desperation. It responds to readiness.

You have to choose to shift.

You have to want to meet yourself—even the uncomfortable parts.

You have to be willing to look inward, not outward, for the way forward.

Energy healing isn’t about waving a wand and watching your life magically change.

It’s about co-creation.

It’s a sacred dance between healer and client—between your soul and your willingness.

I can guide you. I can hold space. I can even see what you can’t yet see.

But I can’t walk the path for you.

I can’t force readiness.

I can’t beg someone to value what they refuse to receive.

No healer, no coach, no modality will change your life unless you’re ready to meet your own truth.

This experience reminded me of the energetic cost of trying to help someone who isn't ready.

I used to overgive, thinking if I just explained it better . . .

If I just gave one more tool . . .

If I just offered one more session . . .

But now I know. Your readiness is your responsibility.

And mine is to share where it can land and blossom—not where it will be drained or doubted.
